[Glass] Notification if a new translog file has been created or an old one has been closed

You can get the current tranlog id (a SmallInteger) using this code:

     System stoneCacheStatisticWithName: 'TranlogFileId' .

which could be polled and action taken when the value increases.

What type of notification would be useful?
