Thanks Monty ... I use a slightly different pattern myself, but the 
Seaside guidelines are definitely portable. Using these guidelines you 
would rename XML-Parser-GemstoneCompatibility to XML-Gemstone-Parser and 
that would eliminate the conflict with XML-Parser
