[Glass] netldi login to 3.6.8 stone via tode fails

Hi 

This is ubuntu 22.04 x64, I'm upgrading a stone from 3.5 to 3.6.8.  I can connect to the 3.5 stone on the server no problem.  I cannot connect to the 3.6.8 stone on the same server.  I did make a new tode client description that points to the upgraded stone.  


For the 3.6.8 stone, its netldi log shows:

    Incorrect password for user paul'.
    error = 


I did double check that all the os pre-reqs were installed.  On the tode client machine I did install the 3.6.8 product so that the gci library is found .  Not sure what else to check right now.  


What should I look into next?  Thanks
