[Glass] How to apply proper file permissions and don't fail?

Hi guys. I was trying to make my gemstone to work in a remote server, and I
faced the typical file permission problems we always fail....

Of course, I did all the GemStone installation with my own user "mariano",
but I thought GemStone would automatically create gsadmin, gsgroup etc...
I tried then what is suggested in in page 58 of the SysAdminGuide but it
didn't work...i broke it...

So I need to install it fresh again. Is there a way I can get the gsadmin
and gsgroup automatically done?

Do I need to install/run gemstone with an admin user or not necesary?

Any help on how to properly define permissions is appreciated.
