[Glass] Ubuntu 14.04 ethernet static ip and GemTools login

Dario,
I am not a network configuration expert either ...
You don't mention whether or not you have shutdown the stone before
adding the static ip...and restart after changing the ip address..
Once you've monkeyed with the network addresses, I would think that you
need to restart the whole system.
Give that a try (you might have to kill the stoned process to bring
things down) and let me know if you are still seeing the problem.
