[Glass] Ubuntu 14.04 ethernet static ip and GemTools login

Dario,
I think in this case the best course of action is for you to give me the
list of commands that you executed to set up you static ip address (I
told you I am not an expert:). I've got a 14.04 vm here that I can try ...
BTW, you mention that GemTools doesn't work, but in the gslist output it
looks like the netldi is frozen?
Have you restarted your netldi after changing the ip address ... Also,
you don't mention whether you are running GemTools as a remote/local client.
Anyway, if you give me the list of things that you did to set the ip
address, I'll see if I can reproduce the problem here...
